Introducing HydroFury - a thrilling, team-based capstone project from 2016, created in Unity as a collaborative effort with my talented teammates. Initially pitched as "Twisted Metal but with boats", HydroFury offers players three exciting game modes to choose from: Capture the Flag, Free-for-All, and King of the Hill.
As a Level Designer for HydroFury, I focused on crafting immersive and dynamic environments that complement the strategic gameplay. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Twisted Metal franchise, I aimed to create arenas that foster tactical play, provide opportunities for epic battles, and engage players with visually captivating backdrops.
In addition to my role as Level Designer, I also took on the challenge of modeling one of the game's unique vessels: the stealth boat. Sporting a faint camouflage pattern, this stealthy watercraft is designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, allowing players to execute surprise attacks and outmaneuver opponents with ease.
HydroFury is a testament to the power of teamwork and the drive for innovation. Together with my dedicated colleagues, we transformed our passion for gaming into a strategic, action-packed experience.
