Introducing Treasure Traversal - a thrilling adventure game created in 2015 as a group project alongside Jordan DeLeon and Saul Corpeno. In this collaborative effort, players must navigate their way through a perilous temple filled with spinning blades, spike traps, and pitfalls, aiming to retrieve the ancient artifacts hidden within.
Jordan DeLeon took the lead on the Spelunky-inspired game design, sounds, and music, and sourced the Death Traps asset pack, while I sourced the Mayan Temple asset pack and finalized the level design. All three of us, myself, Jordan, and Saul, worked together on troubleshooting bugs and collision issues to deliver a polished experience.
To bring the mysterious Mayan Temple to life, I utilized the detailed Mayan Temple asset pack by Dungeon_Crawler_Master from Unity's Asset Store. This exquisite pack provided an array of authentic temple structures and decorative elements for crafting the mesmerizing environment.
For the sense of tension and excitement essential to Treasure Traversal's gameplay, we employed 3DMondra's Death Traps asset pack, which Jordan had sourced. It includes a wide variety of spine-chilling traps like spinning blades, spikes, and pitfalls, which I integrated seamlessly into the level design.
